makes sense to me as well. Especially when I try to get my somewhat
technical friends involved, it is much more appealing to say,
“and you can pay anonymously if you so wish!”</p>
<p>But even from a simple perspective, if it was my first
experience with the project, I would go “eh? I have to pay
for mail integration with a credit card? How does that make any
sense?”</p>
<p>For me, when a project allows me to pay with bitcoin, I feel
better about using it. That, and open source code and I feel like
there is a seal of approval that it’s safe to use.</p></div>Daniel Polancotag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/349831862014-10-23T17:10:26Z2014-10-23T17:10:27ZGPGMail cost<div><blockquote>

<p>Where have you lived until now? Paying with a credit card is all
I do. I do not touch paper/metal money at all. :-) (and I am not
alone)</p>
<p>Bitcoin users are a smaller niche (I have +/- $100 worth of it).
As a business, I would not accept bitcoin as payment though. What
is worth $15 today might be worth $0.15 tomorrow, or $150! Hard to
do business like that.</p>
<p>But I digress. All the best to the GPGTools (the company? They
really need an about, and/or Impressum, if in Germany). Looking
forward to the Yosemite release!</p></div>Naganu Nanutag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/349831862014-10-23T17:14:13Z2014-10-23T17:14:14ZGPGMail cost<div><p>Yah :) No need to start a flame war about bitcoin and its
merits. It’s just something I look for and wanted to make
sure it is something they continue to support.</p></div>Daniel Polancotag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/349831862014-10-23T17:40:19Z2014-10-23T17:40:19ZGPGMail cost<div><p>So the question is when can we install it?</p>
<p>Thanks.</p>

point is definitely accaptable ...<br>

instead of just fixing the damn code to work with Yosemite?</p></div>sightag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/349831862014-10-31T22:50:22Z2014-10-31T22:50:22ZGPGMail cost<div><p>How much time are you wasting with being rude instead of doing
something useful? Memorizing the pattern of wood chip wallpaper
would have been more useful than this comment.</p>
<p>The team put effort, time and money into this project and gave
it for free until that wasn't possible any more. It was a gift and
nothing you can demand, have a right to be provided with or you
have any other rightful claim for. You may kindly ask, and that's
about it. Oh, and in case your breeding was as bad as your manners
are: this is what people call an "adequate rebuke". Something to
memorize and do something useful, at last.</p>

point; we need to be patient. Besides, I’d wager they are
just busy with their other commitments (i.e. paid jobs they agreed
to finish in a timely manner) at the moment.</p>

happy to pay to continue the development work. $10 or $15 would be
good, Thanks for your great work.</p></div>Daniel Fishmantag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/349831862014-12-17T20:16:25Z2014-12-17T20:16:25ZGPGMail cost<div><p>Everybody: thank you all for this great feedback. We still need
to work out the details. The price will be in an affordable range.
We do not want to scare away new users.</p>
<p>There will be a trial version. And until then there will be a
free beta for all to use.</p>
<p>By now we are at GPG Suite beta 3: <a href=
"https://gpgtools.org/">https://gpgtools.org/</a></p>
<p>If you do have feedback regarding that, we would be happy to
hear that. Please do open a new discussion in the "Beta Feedback"
category.</p>
<p>Closing this discussion.</p>
<p>Looking forward to hearing form you!<br>
