<p>I was able to reproduce the problem. This error code means, the
public key, used for signing has expired. And that is indeed the
case for the mozilla key.</p>
<p>We should show more informative error messages and do have a
ticket for this problem. I connected this discussion with the
existing ticket. That means, should this discussion get closed, it
will be re-opened as soon as the ticket is closed. That way you'll
receive a notification. Feel free to open a new discussions should
you run into further problems or need assistance.</p>
<p>Thanks for bringing this up,<br>

on 16-Jul-2015. The SHASUMS I'm validating (38.0.1) was signed on

this onto Mozilla support forum:</p>

Where would I find the error and possible other errors?</p></div>foruminformationmonitortag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/374167762015-08-06T10:55:30Z2015-08-06T10:55:30ZValidation error "Verification FAILED: 153<div><p>foruminformator: You should not have to find the error at all.
The fact that you see the error code instead of an error message is
a problem on our side and we do have a ticket for this problem.</p>
